I am the one responsible.
I am the one responsible. There is no more blame and no one to blame, no more perpetrators and no more victims.
So where does every lesson in life lead me, if not to forgiveness? What do I gain by pointing fingers, selfishly steering toward remorse and punishment? How do I grow by defending my vain importance, licking my lips over revenge, aggression and vanity? What do I solve by running away, dodging and pretending?
I want to own my actions, I want to take on my creations. I want to heal my intolerance and resolutely move beyond the fears that eat away at me. I want to open myself humbly to you, to them, to us. I want to be able to look you in the eye and tell you that we can look each other in the eye, as brothers. I want to set aside my childish grievances and let you be however you choose to be.
I want to create, by your side, a world at peace.
