Overwhelmed, I decide to forgive.

Overwhelmed, I decide to forgive. The world hangs suspended, then sighs on its knees, free of every foreign weight. I feel the burning of the wound as it becomes aware of its own feeling. A volcano of insults can be seen smoking its energy toward a place called light. Transforming hatred into tolerance. Guilt rising up the spine that holds me upright. The sun shines warm on a mountain afternoon full of fruit and seed.

The energy of love surrounds my worry, bringing it to a boil into a shimmering air that expresses the divine flame. Glowing, I am attended by subtle ancestral smiles grateful that I am walking out of a prison. The egregore I breathe out radiates jasmine and the light of life. What a joy it is to exist.

Here on my knees I rest my forehead on the Earth, smiling at the immensity of her candor of peace. I am her prodigal son, returning to her womb to keep growing on my own feet. Thank you, eternity, for the elegance with which you unfold the magnitude of your infinite majesty. Thank you, love, for repaying the strength with which I raise your sword. Thank you, forgiveness, for being.
