I have an idea: Let's stop and make silence.
Let's listen to the cry of the desert. Let's lay down our weapons and build plows of synergy. Let's forget offenses and harvest forgiveness. Let's wish good fortune to those who travel beside us and breathe joy in between our differences. Let's stop resisting the knowledge that we are not right.
May words of encouragement spring up from one brother to another. May embraces of kinship flow in the spirit of living well. Let's quiet the noise of aggression that brings the blindness of insensitivity. It is by observing that reality is here that we calm the storms that feed on our carelessness.
Let's bravely master the impulse of our ignorances, each more imperceptible than the last, tickling us awake. Enough of believing what they tell us, carried away by our sensations, each more addictive than the last. The truth is what is seen from the eternal throne of power and glory we call inner peace. When we need nothing, we are grateful for everything.
A simple, practical idea: Let's be happy.
