And I woke up, because it was day.
And I woke up, because it was day. Or maybe it is day because I woke up. When did I ever wake up here, if it is always today?
The last day I allowed myself to please was the first day I allowed myself to enjoy. Who do I say I am when my actions go chasing, barking, after every passing car? As whom do I answer when my first motive is to hide the guilt of never having answered?
I woke up, not because life woke me, but because I am the life that never slept.
Look, a person here is still asleep. Sleepwalking, dreams happen, illusions and nightmares. But I am awake.
Look, I am asleep. But look, I am the one who, awake since forever, watches myself sleep.
