Balance - Point 1
There is a point in the experiential structure of every individuation, a center around which a universe in balance is held.
In the human being, the evidence of that point takes shape out of the darkness called imbalance.
There is a second point, complementing the first, a center around which the imbalance of the universe is held.
Of course, both points balance each other. If the universe held only one polarity, it would collapse. Therefore, the balance of the universe consists in balance and imbalance both manifesting with the same intensity.
Human imbalance manifests as a thought. One among the many that flutter about the psychic world proper to the human being. That world, inhabited by infinite mental tensions and neural collisions, holds itself, despite the contradictory diversity of its energetic fauna, in perfect balance.
The spark that ignites imbalance in the human mind is a thought that declares, in the name of a thought-up identity: “I am out of balance.”
Thus the polarity of imbalance, a universal rule present in the everyday life of every human being, consists of a deluded thought that invents that very imbalance on the canvas of a thought-up mind.
The point of balance, held in the universe by the harmonious coexistence of the two polarities, depends, then, on the existence of imbalance. But, as we have said, imbalance is illusion, so what holds up the point of balance is illusion too.
The point “I am out of balance” holds up a universe inhabited by thoughts, exactly like the universe in balance, except that each thought defends the thought-up idea of being out of balance.
This idea is what is called the Veil of Maya, Samsara, the Matrix, or more commonly, the Persona.
This veil, whose mission is to block a congruent vision in the experiencing of reality, is, in the practical expression of a human being, what we call Insincerity.
I lie to myself, therefore I am.
It is precisely this tension, burning between two opposite polarities bound together in a single existential space, that feeds our breath of life on a plane that answers to the idea of human reality.
And to think how coveted the idea seemed, that seeking balance meant making an enemy of imbalance! It turned out that the universe, holding in its mind an equal measure of imbalance, keeps itself for all eternity in perfect balance.
