So be it
And may the blessings keep raining down on you.
May the winds of change be kind to you. May the stars in the firmament of your soul bring good fortune, and may the sun at the center of your spirit show you the truth that dwells in your heart.
May your road be long. Even if you fall at times, even if at other times you rest, even if many more times your weariness overflows. May your life endure, may you shine with health toward the heights, may you explode with joy toward the world and implode with peace toward yourself.
For the purpose of walking is not to arrive, it is to walk. The place you are in now is the best and the only place you can be in now. To each day its own trouble. To each breath in, its sigh. To each instant, its wonder.
May your mind rebel against itself so that, at last, it devotes itself to serving you, so that, at last, it listens to the silence that dwells in your heart. And if the cycle of blessedness holds more nights than days, if some storms come down and your feet fill with dust, may yours be the strength to sustain the sacred prayer that existence is experiencing through your presence.
When out of Pandora's box rise all the sorrows your grandmothers stored up and your children learned, and they hunt you down mercilessly wherever you flee, may you have the patience not to flee, for last of all, hope is already coming out to congratulate you.
May it be sunny where the cactus asks for it and cool where the garden blossoms with scents and flavors. May the meadows not hide their ravines from you, may the rivers offer you their fish, may the mountains shelter you on their slopes and the swamps let you pass, so that your spirit may keep growing toward the innocence that dwells in your heart.
And may love abound, and may happiness bathe every cell of your intangibility, may the knowledge of your freedom be firm, may you transcend the emotion of your beliefs and the beliefs of your emotion, may the medicines descend upon you, and above all, may abundance abound. You will never need what you do not have, nor will you ever have too much of what you are not.
I project this song toward the radiant reality from which the light-bearer pecks, little by little, at the cork of your consciousness. May the love of life carry you wherever it wishes to raise you, and may honesty toward your death center you in your most splendid potential.
And may it keep raining.
