Strength, wanderer.
A storm darkening the skies does not make the meadow any less green.
Your path crossing shadowy forests does not lessen the warmth of the sun.
Take heart, wanderer. The weariness is accounted for, the pain has already been foreseen.
You only have to keep going. Fumbling, crawling, trickling. Take as long as you like, time does not exist.
Or give up if you feel like it, for that too is keeping going.
You only have to remain. The sun will raise its brightness just as it has been foreseen, and then it will hide behind the world just as it has been foreseen. The storms will close in on your path even more. The red of the roses will be forgotten.
Remain, keeping vigil through the night.
Hold on to your enthusiasm, because the fire is lit. The Father watches over his beloved son if the son watches over himself. The vermin are slippery; their existence cannot bear the joy in your eyes.
Remain, wanderer. Don't run after the first spark. The chief magic of darkness is to disguise itself as light, so as to hypnotize you and trap you in its delirium.
Keep gazing at the night in its splendor. There is no other condition for crossing it.
And let your spine thrill with joy. The sun has already been called upon, and nothing can stop it.
Don't wait for the sun yet, while it has not arrived. But stay in tune with your present moment, in which the darkness tightens a little more before dawn. This is the moment when, from the hour of the night in which you long for light, you call upon the sun.
And may your song ring out joyfully, alone, across the green meadows full of red roses, sublime orchids and fragrant fairies.
Listen, wanderer. Listen to the voice of your heart. I am that possibility in you that shines with peace in all your circumstances, whatever their color. Listen to that point in you that has never been overshadowed by the path, because it lives the path with all the intensity of its existence and without judging it.
Keep calling upon your light. Keep waking up. Keep knocking on the door to come in. And just remain, just as it has been foreseen.
And lift up your will to live. For you yourself will open the door, from the inside.
