Mythself

Of course, the stories human beings so fervently believe are not reality.

Of course, the divine message comes through myth.

A story isn't worth any less for failing to capture reality. As long as the story speaks of you, it is expressing reality word for word.

In the beginning, the Spirit created life, while darkness was upon the face of the deep, and He hovered over the warm, nourishing waters of a sacred womb.

The beginning of Creation goes back to those distant ages when you were conceived by the fatherly heavens and the loving earth. The spark was breathed into lifeless clay, and the world came to be, without form, and void.

At its naturally planned moment, there was light. The Spirit was born, breathing in the breath of life. And the evening and the morning were day 1.

And you grew, O great human being. Your humanity in the image and likeness of your being. Your mind in the image and likeness of the path you walk. Your cyclical heartbeats in the image and likeness of your fatal, inevitable destiny.

Because you ate of the fruit of knowledge, and in doing so you accepted both the death of your humanity and the knowledge of your being. You accepted passing through the myth of the Christ, the one who must be crucified in order to be sanctified.

So you are the potential of the Christ, if you choose to recognize it. And you are also all those who kill him by denying his potential to be. You are also the myth of the antichrist. You are the serpent who, while betraying your convictions, sows the seed of clarity in the darkness. You are the Lord of Hosts who rules his people with bad temper and madness.

And you will have to offer yourself in sacrifice. You will have to hand over your whole human identity to the solar cross. You will have to overcome the temptations of power and glory to receive, in the simplicity of your breathing, the abysmal emptiness of the God you have always already been.

Surrender, Son of Man. Give up everything. You are the myth that all the divine wisdom in the world preaches about.

Your most private thoughts. Your intimate longings. Your secret cruelty. Your gradual growth in this world. Your spark of originality that makes you sigh every day in front of the same old computer, next to your little cup of coffee. The Holy Scriptures speak of you.

Look, it is impossible for you to love anyone except as you love yourself. Your self-love is the foundation pillar of your life. Your acceptance of the wholly impersonal divinity is what opens the heavens of Eternal Glory to you.

Fear your God, little man. The Kingdom of Heaven is here.
