And we grow, as a tree grows in spring.
No enlightenment to attain, only growing.
No philosophy to get tangled in, only growing.
No mind to silence, only taking it on.
Heaven is perfect, pure love, pure emptiness, pure rapture.
Here on Earth is where we live, where we grow from.
Deep the roots, straight and strong the spine.
With depth we sprout, expressing the life that makes us grow.
With uprightness we commit, watching the storm go by without surrendering to its harshness.
With strength we blossom, feeling the breeze go by without surrendering to its subtlety.
The wood roars, growing from its center, expressing its center.
And we grow, as our center grows in this spring.
And we live, we simply live.
