And so we lower our defenses against pain and throw ourselves into feeling it with all the courage that wanting to live deserves. The heart breathes in relief when we open it to the unconditional feeling of knowing how to die.

Rigidity weeps as it cracks apart, in a crystallizing process where we cast off all self-pity, all misery, all regret. Only feeling remains: the pure perception of the divine flame renewing itself, knowing itself, creating itself.

We wake to the flow of existence and rise to take the lead in choosing the paths that color the canvas of our universe.

And so we understand what love is.
