Burn, sacred pain!

Fill me with your fire, medicine in the heart!

I have sought you in all my actions, for I indulge myself in my madness.

I have clung to you since the most ancient times, for I take pleasure in my darkness.

What masochistic pleasure is plotting my ruin?

What dissonant string sabotages the music of my living soul?

Purify me, sweet weeping, bitter tear.

Show me the tenderness to accept everything in this world.

Guide me toward the integrity to forgive everything in this jungle.

Burn my beliefs out of me, wipe my whims away.

And then pass on as well, for you too are only passing through.

Let emptiness remain, let nothing remain.

Burn, blessed nothing!

Vibrate, empty life, silence in the heart!
