Tell me, oh God! Where are you?

I have searched for you in the heavens, afraid that you would judge me.

I have believed in you without seeing you, blind in my belief.

I have tried to flatter you, dissatisfied as I am with myself.

Wherever I look, I do not find you.

I have given you my faith, my hope and my hopelessness.

I call you Love and still I keep searching for you.

I have placed you inside my heart and still I want to see you.

I have repeated your name, longing for you to come.

"I Am That I Am," I now remember, is your name.

Then why do I keep calling you "You"?

You are not someone out there.

You are not something kept in a box in here.

I Am You.

I, the very one who seeks you, am You.

I am not separate from you, for you are the All.

I am not just a part of you, for there is only one All.

I, blind, dissatisfied and hopeless, am the Ocean itself.

There is no place where you are.

Now you have nothing left to tell me, oh God!
